Rapper 2 Chainz revealed on Club Shay Shay that he was banned from smoking weed around Eminem while they were collaborating in the studio, due to Eminem’s team’s strict rules, not Eminem himself.

The Atlanta rapper described how Eminem’s team set up speakers outside the studio for him to listen to beats while avoiding smoking inside.

The two artists worked together on tracks including “Chloraseptic” and the NBA-themed “Kyrie & Luka,” produced by DJ Premier and referencing basketball players Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and Julius Randle.

2 Chainz also noted his busy year, including releasing “Life is Beautiful” and planning a joint album with Statik Selektah.
