Aston Villa 'not happy' after Tottenham match brought forward over Europa League final

Aston Villa are unhappy with the Premier League’s decision to move their match against Tottenham from 18 May to 16 May to give Spurs more preparation time for the Europa League final.
Villa’s football operations director Damian Vidagany criticized the move as showing “clear prejudice” against his club and highlighted the lack of support despite Villa’s own congested fixture schedule.
Tottenham had requested the change due to a potential Europa League final on 21 May, but Villa objected citing no precedent and concerns about disrupting their final home game and fan activities.
The rescheduled match will kick off at 19:30 on 16 May, coinciding closely with Manchester United’s game, who could face Spurs in the final, also scheduled on the same night.
