Former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has called on President Bola Tinubu to discipline his son, Seyi Tinubu, following serious allegations of assault, kidnapping, and inducement against him by the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Atiku Isah.
Atiku described the accusations as deeply alarming, undermining democratic norms and civil liberty, and warned against the use of coercion and violence to secure political loyalty.
He criticized what he perceives as the excessive influence of Seyi Tinubu, including over state security officials, urging Nigerians to speak out against such abuses.
Atiku also dismissed attempts to politically link him to the NANS president as baseless and malicious, emphasizing that the presidency is public trust, not a private inheritance.
