The Dangote Refinery and other petroleum depots in Nigeria have raised ex-depot prices for petrol due to rising global oil prices amid the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. Prices at Dangote Refinery increased from ₦825 to ₦840 per litre, while other depots like Rainoil and Fynefield also raised prices significantly.

Crude oil prices remain high, with Brent at $75.63 and WTI at $74.03 per barrel, influencing local petrol costs. Industry representatives acknowledge global factors’ impact, though some stakeholders claim marketers exploit Nigerians with steep price hikes.

Separately, Nigerian tanker drivers and an independent marketers’ association suspended their strike following a government fee hike linked to truck parking in Lagos State.
