1. HND or degree in Marine engineering
2. Offshore Survival Certificate
3. Minimum 5 years work experience

4. Marine Engineers design, build, test and repair boats, ships, remote operated vehicles,
offshore platforms and drill ships
5. Responsible for the design of offshore rigs, pipelines and equipment
6. Plan and oversee the building and commissioning of projects
7. Examine the reliability and integrity of vessels and offshore installations looking at their sea
worthiness, safety and maintenance
8. Responsible for the management of all planned maintenance tasks and also unscheduled
repairs that may be required on plant and machinery
9. Manage the project lifecycle and keep the Client informed
10. Liaise with all suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the project
11. Ensures that knowledge is kept up to date
