The University for Development Studies, UDS admission list is simply the names of successfully admitted applicants offered provisional admission to study various courses in the institution. The admission lists are released after the conduct of admission screening exercise and most times released in batches.

University for Development Studies, UDS undergraduate admission list 2025/2026 is successfully uploaded online, to check your admission status follow the below lead from:-

  • Go to UDS admission status checker portal at http://admissions.udscampusmanager.com/undonline/admissions/
  • Then search for your name using either your Application ID, Surname, Firstname or Programme
  • Print your Provisional Admission Letter online and immediately pay your fees in order not to lose your admission.
  • For domestic students, fees can be paid at any branch of Ghana Commercial Bank(GCB), Agricultural Development Bank(ADB), Ecobank, Stanbic Bank, Prudential Bank and Zenith Bank throughout Ghana
  • For foreign students, fees can be paid at any Ecobank branch in your country

I didn’t get Admitted to UDS, Why?

It is very obvious that the University for Development Studies, like every other university, cannot admit the entire number of persons who apply to be admitted for the 2025/2026 academic year. But before you conclude that you were not admitted, be sure to check your status on all released admission list batches. If you are sure you were not admitted after searching through all batches and programmes. The following may, unfortunately, be the cause of the decline.

You did not meet the general admission requirement

  • One possible reason for which you did not get UDS admission this year could be your inability to score at least 6 credit passes in your WASSCE exams.
  • In order to secure admission into any tertiary institution, applicants must score at least C6 in six subjects – 3 Core subjects and 3 electives.
  • Your application is most definitely not going to be accepted when you don’t meet this standard.

You did not meet the grade requirement for the course/programme you choose

  • There is a cutoff point for the various programmes.
  • For instance, an applicant must score at least 14 to be qualified for admission for any of the programmes under Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences.
  • Therefore, inasmuch as you scored at least C6 in six subjects – 3 Core Subjects and 3 electives, you cannot secure a place on the admission list for any of the programmes under Allied Health Science if your grade score is higher than the 14 required.
  • Visit the university’s website for the cut-off points for the various programmes used for this year’s admission

Your results have been cancelled or withheld by the WAEC

  • After WAEC had released the 2025 WASSCE results, there are always cases of withheld results for investigations.
  • The examination body also announced that the results of persons who will be found guilty of examination malpractice after the investigation will be cancelled.
  • If our results were withheld, it could be the reason.

You made a mistake with your online application

  • Your inability to complete your online application could be a reason for which you failed to make it to UDS this year.
  • Perhaps you submitted your application without a passport picture or your educational background.

You were not lucky

  • Admission into the University for Development Studies is often the university of choice for many Senior High School graduates.
  • Each year, the number of applicants to the school increases, however, the school is forced to turn down the application of many despite the fact that they qualify to be admitted due to infrastructural and logistical constraints.
  • Each of the programmes available at the university has a limited number of people it admits.
  • Although you may have scored the right grades and have met the cut-off point, you compete with fellow applicants opting for the same program.
