Welcome to Heveny.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Heveny, including our website, mobile applications, communities, messaging features, profiles, stories, discovery tools, rewards, subscriptions, and other products or services we may provide (collectively, the “Service”).
Heveny is operated by Starbiss LTD., referred to in these Terms as “the Operator,” “Heveny,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By creating an account, accessing, or using Heveny, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Heveny Community Guidelines.
If you do not agree, you should not use Heveny.
1. About Heveny
Heveny is a social relationship community designed to help adults:
- Meet new people.
- Discover potential friendships and romantic connections.
- Communicate with other members.
- Share stories and experiences about dating, relationships, love, marriage, friendship, breakups, and related topics.
- Join and participate in communities.
- Ask questions and contribute to discussions.
- Participate in eligible community activities and rewards.
- Access additional free or paid features that we may introduce.
Heveny provides tools that enable people to discover and communicate with each other.
We do not guarantee that you will find a partner, relationship, friendship, marriage, match, or any particular outcome through Heveny.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Heveny account.
By using Heveny, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
- You are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Service.
- You have not previously been permanently removed from Heveny for serious violations unless we have expressly allowed you to return.
- The information you provide is substantially accurate and belongs to you.
We may request age, identity, or other verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, or access to certain features.
Providing false information during verification may result in account restrictions or termination.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for your Heveny account and for activity carried out through it.
You agree to:
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Provide accurate account information.
- Keep important information reasonably up to date.
- Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- Use only accounts you are authorized to control.
You may not sell, rent, transfer, or provide your account to another person without our permission.
We may limit the number of accounts one person can operate.
4. Be Genuine
Heveny is intended for authentic human connections.
You may not:
- Impersonate another person.
- Create a fake or intentionally deceptive identity.
- Use another person's photographs without permission.
- Misrepresent your identity in order to deceive other members.
- Create accounts primarily for fraud, manipulation, spam, or abuse.
- Pretend to represent Heveny or another organization without authorization.
Using a nickname or limiting information displayed publicly does not by itself violate these Terms, provided you are not using that information to deceive or harm others.
5. Profiles and Discovery
Heveny may allow you to create a profile containing information such as your name, photographs, bio, interests, location information, relationship intentions, preferences, voice introduction, and other details.
Some profile information may be visible to other members depending on your settings and the features you use.
You control the information you choose to provide, subject to information required to operate the Service.
Do not publish information that you do not want other members to know.
Heveny may use information you provide and your activity on the Service to determine which profiles, stories, communities, or content to recommend to you.
Recommendations are not endorsements or guarantees of compatibility, character, safety, or identity.
6. Meeting People Through Heveny
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to interact with another member.
Heveny does not conduct comprehensive background checks on every member and cannot guarantee that every statement made by another user is accurate.
When interacting with someone you meet through Heveny:
- Exercise reasonable judgment.
- Protect sensitive personal information.
- Be cautious about requests for money.
- Consider meeting in public places when meeting someone for the first time.
- Tell someone you trust about important first meetings where appropriate.
- Report suspicious or unsafe behavior.
Never send money, financial credentials, verification codes, or sensitive banking information to someone merely because you met them through Heveny.
Your interactions and meetings with other users are ultimately your responsibility.
7. Messaging and Communication
Heveny may provide direct messaging, connection requests, voice features, comments, replies, or other communication tools.
You must respect other people's boundaries.
You may not:
- Repeatedly contact someone after they have asked you to stop.
- Circumvent another user's block.
- Send threatening or abusive messages.
- Pressure someone for sexual activity, photographs, money, or personal information.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Use messaging primarily for advertising or scams.
- Send malicious links or software.
Receiving a connection, like, message, follow, recommendation, or other interaction does not imply consent to further contact outside the scope of that interaction.
8. Communities
Heveny may provide communities focused on dating, relationships, marriage, friendship, men's and women's discussions, healing, experiences, advice, and other topics.
Each community may have additional rules.
By participating in a community, you agree to follow:
- These Terms.
- The Heveny Community Guidelines.
- Any additional rules displayed for that community.
Some communities may have participation requirements, including communities intended for particular groups.
Community membership does not give members permission to harass, discriminate against, expose, or threaten others.
We may create, rename, merge, restrict, archive, or remove communities where reasonably necessary.
9. Stories, Posts and User Content
Heveny may allow you to publish:
- Stories.
- Posts.
- Questions.
- Comments.
- Photographs.
- Audio.
- Profile information.
- Community discussions.
- Relationship experiences.
- Other material.
Collectively, these are called “User Content.”
You retain ownership of User Content that you create, subject to the rights you grant us under these Terms.
You are responsible for the content you publish.
10. License to Your Content
When you publish User Content on Heveny, you grant Heveny a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, adapt, and technically process that content as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate Heveny.
- Display your content to the audiences you select.
- Distribute content through feeds and recommendations.
- Maintain and improve the Service.
- Moderate content.
- Protect users and the platform.
- Promote Heveny where permitted by your settings and applicable law.
This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where:
- Copies remain temporarily in backups.
- The content has been shared or reposted by others under an available feature.
- Retention is reasonably necessary for security, disputes, enforcement, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
We do not obtain ownership of your User Content merely because you publish it on Heveny.
11. Content You Must Not Post
You may not post or distribute content that:
- Is unlawful.
- Threatens or encourages violence.
- Harasses, bullies, or seriously abuses another person.
- Promotes hatred or dehumanization.
- Contains sexual exploitation.
- Contains sexual content involving minors.
- Shares intimate content without consent.
- Reveals another person's sensitive private information without permission.
- Facilitates scams, fraud, or financial deception.
- Impersonates another person.
- Infringes intellectual property rights.
- Contains malware or malicious code.
- Encourages serious dangerous or criminal conduct.
- Is primarily spam or deceptive promotion.
- Violates our Community Guidelines.
Additional restrictions may apply to particular features or communities.
12. Relationship Stories and Advice
Heveny encourages discussions about relationships and personal experiences.
When discussing another person, you should avoid unnecessarily publishing identifying or sensitive information.
Do not use Heveny to:
- Publicly expose a person's private information.
- Organize harassment.
- Threaten revenge.
- Publish non-consensual intimate information or media.
- Make knowingly false allegations intended to seriously harm someone.
Relationship discussions on Heveny may include opinions from ordinary community members.
Heveny does not guarantee that relationship, legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other advice provided by users is accurate or professionally qualified.
You should seek an appropriately qualified professional where professional advice is needed.
13. Safety and Reporting
Heveny may provide tools to:
- Block users.
- Report users.
- Report content.
- Restrict interactions.
- Control privacy.
- Limit messaging.
Please use these tools when appropriate.
We may investigate reports and take action based on available information.
Submitting a report does not guarantee a specific enforcement outcome.
Knowingly filing false or malicious reports may itself violate these Terms.
14. Moderation
To protect Heveny and its members, we may review, restrict, reduce distribution of, remove, or preserve content where reasonably necessary.
We may also:
- Issue warnings.
- Restrict messaging.
- Restrict posting.
- Remove members from communities.
- Limit account visibility.
- Require verification.
- Temporarily suspend accounts.
- Permanently terminate accounts.
Moderation decisions may consider:
- Severity.
- Context.
- Previous behavior.
- Repeated violations.
- Potential harm.
- Credibility of reports.
- Safety risks.
- Applicable legal requirements.
We are not required to publish every internal moderation signal or detection method.
Where available, we may provide a way to appeal certain enforcement decisions.
15. Blocking
If a member blocks another member, Heveny may prevent or limit interactions between those accounts.
Attempting to bypass a block through another account or through coordinated contact may result in enforcement action.
16. Verification
Heveny may offer verification features intended to improve trust and reduce impersonation.
Verification may include methods such as:
- Phone verification.
- Email verification.
- Selfie or liveness verification.
- Identity-document verification.
- Other authentication processes.
A verification badge means only that the member successfully completed the applicable verification process.
Verification is not a guarantee of someone's character, intentions, safety, honesty, financial status, or relationship status.
17. Paid Features
Heveny may offer paid products or features, including:
- Subscriptions.
- Profile boosts.
- Priority connection requests.
- Premium discovery features.
- Additional filters.
- Visibility features.
- Digital credits.
- Community features.
- Other optional purchases.
Pricing and benefits will be shown before purchase.
Prices may differ based on country, platform, taxes, promotions, subscription duration, or other legitimate commercial factors.
We may add, modify, or discontinue paid features, subject to applicable law and any commitments relating to active purchases.
18. Subscriptions
Where Heveny offers recurring subscriptions, your subscription may automatically renew at the applicable billing interval unless you cancel it before renewal.
Before purchase, we will display applicable pricing, billing frequency, and material subscription terms.
You are responsible for cancelling through the payment method or platform through which you subscribed where applicable.
Deleting the Heveny application from your device does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
19. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
When using a payment provider, you may also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
Heveny does not necessarily store complete payment-card information directly.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize applicable charges for purchases you make.
20. Refunds
Unless otherwise required by law, purchases may be non-refundable once a paid digital feature has been fully delivered or consumed.
Different rules may apply to:
- Recurring subscriptions.
- Accidental or duplicate purchases.
- Failed transactions.
- Purchases made through third-party app stores.
- Purchases subject to mandatory consumer rights.
Any applicable refund terms will be displayed in our Refund Policy or at the point of purchase.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Community Rewards
Heveny may offer rewards, points, credits, badges, promotional benefits, or other incentives for eligible activity.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Rewards do not represent bank deposits.
- Rewards are not legal tender.
- Rewards do not create an ownership interest in Heveny.
- Rewards may have eligibility requirements.
- Rewards may expire.
- Rewards may be withheld or reversed in cases of fraud, manipulation, errors, chargebacks, or rule violations.
- Certain rewards may not be transferable.
- Cash redemption may only be available where expressly stated.
We may establish additional rules for individual reward programs.
Using multiple accounts, automated systems, fake engagement, collusion, or deceptive activity to obtain rewards is prohibited.
22. Promotions and Special Programs
From time to time, Heveny may operate:
- Promotions.
- Referral programs.
- Early-access programs.
- Community challenges.
- Giveaways.
- Reward campaigns.
- Other special programs.
Additional rules may apply to those programs.
Where additional terms conflict with these Terms regarding a particular program, the specific program terms will apply to that program.
23. Intellectual Property
Heveny and its associated:
- Name.
- Logo.
- Brand elements.
- Software.
- Interface.
- Designs.
- Graphics.
- Features.
- Proprietary technology.
- Original platform content.
are owned by or licensed to Heveny and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except where we expressly permit it, you may not reproduce, sell, copy, reverse engineer, distribute, or commercially exploit our intellectual property.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Heveny's intellectual property to you.
24. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
You should only upload content that you own or have permission to use.
If you believe content on Heveny infringes your intellectual-property rights, email support@heveny.com or contact us through our Contact page.
Your notice should provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the protected work, disputed material, and basis of your claim.
25. Prohibited Use
You may not use Heveny to:
- Commit fraud.
- Scam members.
- Solicit money through deception.
- Facilitate prostitution or sexual exploitation.
- Distribute illegal sexual material.
- Exploit minors.
- Traffic persons.
- Sell prohibited goods or services.
- Facilitate serious criminal activity.
- Harvest user information without authorization.
- Scrape Heveny at scale without permission.
- Operate unauthorized bots.
- Circumvent security systems.
- Interfere with platform infrastructure.
- Introduce malware.
- Manipulate platform metrics.
- Buy or sell Heveny accounts.
- Circumvent enforcement actions.
- Violate applicable laws.
26. Automated Access and AI
Unless Heveny expressly authorizes it, you may not use bots, crawlers, scripts, artificial intelligence agents, automated account systems, or other automated methods to:
- Create accounts.
- Message users.
- Scrape profiles.
- Collect personal information.
- Artificially generate engagement.
- Circumvent limits.
- Manipulate recommendations.
- Abuse rewards.
We may provide officially supported automated or AI-powered features separately.
27. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.
By using Heveny, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Some features necessarily involve making information available to other members. Review your profile and privacy settings carefully before sharing information.
28. Location Information
Certain Heveny features may use location information to help you discover people, content, communities, or experiences relevant to your area.
We may display an approximate location rather than your precise location where the product is designed that way.
Do not assume that the location displayed for another member is exact, current, or verified.
You can control applicable location permissions through your device and Heveny settings.
29. Third-Party Services
Heveny may interact with third-party services including:
- Payment processors.
- Cloud infrastructure providers.
- Authentication providers.
- Mapping services.
- Communication services.
- Analytics providers.
- App stores.
- Other technology providers.
We are not responsible for third-party products or services that we do not control.
Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms.
30. External Links
Members may occasionally share links to websites outside Heveny.
We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, security, products, or practices.
Exercise caution before providing personal or financial information on external websites.
31. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee that Heveny will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security incidents.
We may temporarily restrict access for:
- Maintenance.
- Security.
- Technical problems.
- Platform improvements.
- Legal requirements.
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Features may change as Heveny evolves.
32. Beta and Experimental Features
Some features may be marked as beta, experimental, preview, or early access.
These features may:
- Change.
- Contain errors.
- Have limited availability.
- Be discontinued.
Use experimental features with this understanding.
33. Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Heveny at any time.
Where available, you may delete your account through your account settings.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe:
- These Terms have been violated.
- Our Community Guidelines have been violated.
- The account presents a safety risk.
- The account is fraudulent.
- The account is being used illegally.
- The account threatens the security of the Service.
- Action is required by law.
- Continued access creates material risk to Heveny or its users.
Serious conduct may result in immediate termination without a prior warning where appropriate.
34. What Happens When Your Account Ends
When your account is deleted or terminated:
- Your access to the Service may end.
- Your profile may stop being visible.
- Certain User Content may be removed.
- Some information may remain temporarily in backups.
- Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, enforcement, regulatory obligations, or other lawful purposes.
Content you previously shared may remain where other users legitimately incorporated it into their own interactions or where continued retention is legally permitted.
35. Disclaimers
Heveny is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We cannot guarantee:
- That every member is who they claim to be.
- That members will behave appropriately.
- That profile information is always accurate.
- That recommendations will produce compatibility.
- That you will receive messages, matches, dates, friendships, relationships, or marriage.
- That advice posted by community members is correct.
- That the Service will always operate without interruption or error.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
36. User Interactions
Heveny provides technology that enables people to interact.
We are generally not a party to personal relationships, conversations, dates, meetings, arrangements, or disputes between members.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for your own decisions and interactions with other users.
This does not affect any legal obligations Heveny may independently have regarding platform safety, consumer protection, privacy, or other applicable requirements.
37. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heveny and its affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses resulting solely from your use of the Service where such liability may legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that applicable consumer-protection law does not permit us to exclude.
38. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, if your unlawful conduct, User Content, or material breach of these Terms causes a third-party claim against Heveny, you agree to be responsible for losses and reasonable costs directly resulting from that claim to the extent legally attributable to you.
This provision does not reduce any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
39. Changes to Heveny
We may develop, modify, replace, or discontinue aspects of the Service as Heveny evolves.
Where a change materially affects paid services, legal rights, or existing commitments, we will provide notice where required.
40. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When changes are material, we may notify you through Heveny, email, push notification, or another reasonable method.
The updated Terms will state their effective date.
Where applicable law requires your consent to a particular change, we will request it.
41. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections or other rights that may apply to you under applicable law.
42. Disputes
If you have a dispute with Heveny, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights available through a regulator, consumer-protection authority, court, or other body where applicable law permits you to do so.
Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
43. Severability
If a court or competent authority determines that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
44. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we permanently waive our right to enforce it later.
45. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Heveny Community Guidelines, applicable payment terms, and any feature-specific terms, constitute the agreement between you and Heveny regarding use of the Service.
