Sunda International Recruitment 2019
To lead in financial analysis in areas such as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance in the West Africa Operations.
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and financial opportunity forecasting
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting as recommended by the group
Manage the preparation of the company’s budget in accordance to group standards
Introduces strategies aimed at improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
Be the first point of call for all stakeholder management
Prepare and comply with tax regulations, statutory laws and audits.
Comply with all local, state, and other statutory tax filings and reporting requirements
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet any operational requirements
Coordinate with colleagues to prepare the company’s annual report
Work closely with management or executive teams to analyze and share financial reports
Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial results and reports
Ensure that financial reports comply with current accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Assist in determining the company’s proper capital structure for the region
Oversee accounting operations of the company in the West Africa region
Exhibit strong leadership to ensure efficiency and excellent deliverables within the finance department
Oversee any outsourced accounting functions and responsibilities
Collaborate with external auditors as needed
Engage in any cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
Interpret the company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
Maintain an adequate system of budgets and controls created to mitigate risk and losses
Publish complete and timely financial statements to company directors and executive members.
Account for any budget variances and report significant discrepancies to management
Recommend benchmarks for the measurement of company financial performance goals
Analyze capital investments, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions
File quarterly and annual reports with the regulatory authorities including the Ghana Freezone Board
Maintain a system of controls over all transactions
Ensure thorough adherence to procurement process and practices
Responsible for all IT related concerns
Requirements
1.Educational Qualification
•MBA in Finance
•Professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA/CA)
2.Previous Experience
•At least a proven track record of 10 years’ combined experience in finance and accounting.
•Experience in creating financial statement
•Familiar with requirements of a Free zone company
•Experienced in use of ERP systems (SAP accounting software).
3.Technical Skills
•Thorough knowledge in financial accounting principles
•Knowledge in the preparation of financial statement and reports
•Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and preferably SOx
•Understanding of Regulatory and Statutory requirements
•Competent to use MS Office
•Experience with international manufacturing company
