1. Job Title: Head of School – (Primary & JHS)

SHS Children’s Villages Ghana is a child welfare organisation that provides a stable Family-like (FLC) for children in need.

We also provide social services for families at risk through our family strengthening projects. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and dynamic persons for appointment as: Head of School – (Primary & JHS)

Qualification Required & Experience

• A first Degree in Education, a postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage
• Minimum grade of Assistant Director in the GES plus 5 years experience in the service or 5 years as Head of a private educational institution
• Must be highly organised, efficient, able to work indepedently, use initiative and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely essential
• The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, school management skills, ability to write proposals and be computer literate. (Very good skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• The successful applicant should be capable of assisting in formulating educational, child welfare and development policies for SOS schools and villages
• Must be knowledgeable in Child Rights and Child Safe Guarding Practices

2. Job Title: Internal Auditor

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should

• Be a certified Auditor and Chartered Accountant with certification by ICA Ghana, ACCA or CIMA. Should hold a 2nd degree in Finance or Accounting
• Have a minimum of 10 years of post qualification relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting with some relevant experience in Auditing
• Have proven knowledge in Microsoft office suite
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and with highest level of integrity in dealing with co-workers
• Possess good organisational and time management skills and ability to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Must be knowledgeable in Child Rights and Child Safe Guarding Practices

3. Job Title: ICT Coordinator

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should

• Have a minimum of 3 years of 5 years of post qualification relevant work. ICT experience with preferred industry standard IT certifications ITILv3
• Applicants living or residing in and around the job location have an added advantage
• Hold BSc degree in Computer Science / Information Technology/Information systems, Certified in networks (CCNA or equivalent), certified in Microsoft (MCSE/MCSA or equivalent). Microsoft Enterprise Mobility suit (EMS) is a plus
• Project management certification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent) is plus
• Technically have advanced knowledge in Microsoft windows server and client operating systems, advanced knowledge in software defined (SD) networking such as Cisco Meraki and Ubiquity devices. Advanced knowledge in Azure identity management and Microsoft Active Directory. Hands-on experience on Microsoft Office 365 Services, proven experience to design and manage IT projects, knowledge in conducting digital literacy and assessing its result. • Have proven management experience. Ability to create strategic ICT plan and monitoring ICT budget expenditures, Solid experience in ICT hardware and software acquisition and management, Advanced knowledge in project management, professional communications skills, experience in business requirement analysis and change management activities, experience in doing internal ICT audits, ability to develop various ICT policies
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should

• Hold a first degree in statistics, Project Management, Sociology, Economics or Community Development
• Have a minimum of 2 years of direct experience assisting in managing and executing monitoring and evaluation activities for donor-funded programmes. Experience should include ability to conduct assessments and surveys, proposal development, programme design, select indicators, implement, monitoring and evaluation plans, data analysis and results framework
• Applicants living or residing in and around the job location have an added advantage
• Demonstrate familiarity with and understanding of qualitative and quantitative monitoring & evaluation methodologies that incorporate rigorous statistical methods, impact evaluation, participatory monitoring & Evaluation techniques
• Have strong communications skills required for extensive report and proposal writing
• Have advance experience with excel, demonstrated skill in statistical analysis and management information systems, Microsoft office suite Access and other databases formats
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Strategic thinker combined with practical “can do” attitude
• Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Possess strong organisational and time management skills with precision to meet deadlines
• Must be knowledgeable in child rights and child safe guarding practices
