Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the 2025 GNPC Scholarship Foundation Programme. Interested applicant ought to follow the details and procedures on this page to secure this opportunity.

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is offering limited scholarships, through the GNPC Foundation, to Ghanaian students for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The scholarships are for degree courses and are tenable at accredited public tertiary institutions in Ghana i.e. Universities, Technical Universities and Polytechnics. The scholarships cover Tuition, Living Expenses, Book Allowance and Dissertation/Project Allowance.

GNPC SCHOLARSHIP 2025/2026 – GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

Applicant must:

  1. Be Ghanaian,
  2. Not be over 35 years by 1st October 2025
  3. Have obtained admission to undertake an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD degree program in a Ghanaian Public University at the time of application

GNPC SCHOLARSHIP 2025/2026 – PREFERENCE

Preference would be given to:

  1. Undergraduates:
  2. Degree programs in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM); Environment, Health &Sanitation, Special Education and Agricultural Sciences
  3. Women in Engineering
  4. Brilliant but needy students
  5. Physically Challenged
  6. Masters/PhD:
  7. Oil and Gas related courses
  8. Science, Technology and Engineering
  9. Special Education

POSTGRADUATE: GNPC Postgraduate Scholarship 2025/2026 is Out – CLICK HERE

Apply online via the GNPC official website: http://www.gnpcghana.com and follow the application process, attaching relevant documents.

OR

Submit hard copies of the following documents to the GNPC Foundation office at Takoradi: Curriculum Vitae (CV), Admission letter, Birth certificate and WASSCE results.

Application letter including Admissions letter from the school, Contact e-mail and phone number of the applicant should be sent by email to SCHOLARSHIPS@GNPCGHANA.COM.

I have been offered a 70% Scholarship to study a Master of Technology in Civil engineering (M. Tech. In Civil Eng.) program in india. The program offered me is vey nice and i think i can help my country with the technology i would be imparted with.
