The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) is looking for qualified, goal-oriented and results-driven persons with exceptional qualities for appointment to the following position: Driver
Job Purpose
• To provide transport support services to facilitate the achievement of the Commission’s mandate.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Conveys officials, goods or equipment to and from designated locations;
• Conducts daily checks on the vehicle to ensure safety;
• Implements regulations and procedures on daily vehicle movement log/register
• Promptly reports all faults (major or minor) to supervisor for further action;
• Liaises with supervisor to ensure that all vehicle documentation ie, Road Worthiness Certificate and insurance are renewed on time;
• Provides prompt reminder to supervisor on scheduled maintenance/services of the vehicle.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A pass in the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or its equivalence. Must have valid driving license with three (3) years of driving experience

Job Purpose
• To effectively and efficiently coordinate the performance of all the Directorates and Units in delivering their functions and the mandates of the Commission.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides advice to the Chief Executive on formulation and implementation of salary and wages policy;
• Oversees the management of the human, material and financial resources of the Commission to improve the over-all efficiency of the Commission;

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides technical inputs to management on the formulation and implementation of GovernMent Pay Policy;
• Oversees the management of the human, material and financial resources of the Directorate to improve efficiency;
• Coordinates the development and implementation of operational work plan for the Directorate;
• Oversees the conduct of all job analysis, Job Evaluation and Job Re-evaluation exercises for public service institutions;
• Develops and ensures implementation of grading and classification of salary structures;
• Develops proposals for consistent review of standard job evaluation methodology and development of salary structures;
• Develops and implements a monitoring framework for compliance to the principles of classification, grading, placement and payment of allowances by public service institutions;
• Provides advice on the development and management of the Single Spine Salary Structure for public service institutions and other public-sector institutions;
• Supervises the issuance of yearly updated Single Spine Salary Structure and other related salary structures and the periodic update of service classification for public service institutions;
• Provides data/information on the Single Spine Grade Structure of public service institutions to the Grievance Review Committee to resolve issues on disputed job placements;
• Supervises the preparation and submission of annual budget, quarterly and annual report of the Directorate;
• Oversees the implementation of performance management in the Directorate.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Labour Economics, Public Administration or any related Social Science discipline with not less than 10 years work experience In Human Resource Management role, 6 years of which must be in a Senior Management position

Job Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

• Advises the Commission on judgments and orders of the Court or rulings of the National Labour Commission (NLC);

• Supervises the compilation of data for the preparation of annual and other relevant reports on the operations of the Unit;
• Supervises and appraises subordinates.

• Must have been called to the Ghana Bar and practised progressively for a minimum of six (6) years in either public or private practice.

Job Purpose
