Stars Shine Bright at 2025 Ojude Oba Festival With Regal Style and Tradition
The 2025 Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, saw a vibrant celebration featuring prominent Nigerian entertainers and local indigenes. Nollywood stars Lateef Adedimeji and Femi Branch attended in traditional Yoruba attire, paying respect to the Awujale of Ijebuland.
Street-pop singer Lil Kesh made a memorable entrance on horseback, receiving enthusiastic cheers as he joined cultural age-grade groups. Actress Eniola Badmus showcased a modern take on festival fashion while proudly representing Ijebuland.
Farooq Oreagba, known as the “King of Steeze,” returned with his signature regal style and inspiring presence, riding on horseback in ornate agbada and designer accessories. Veteran actor Ibrahim Chatta also participated, celebrating Yoruba heritage with traditional horse riding.
The festival, held shortly after Eid-el-Kabir, combines rich Yoruba culture with contemporary elements, drawing thousands to honor the Awujale of Ijebuland in a grand, colorful event.
