Senior Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Church has denied allegations of brandishing a firearm at a Lagos-based content creator.

A viral video showed the pastor holding an object that some interpreted as a gun while seated in a black Range Rover, prompting criticism online.

Adefarasin clarified in a statement that the object was not a firearm and described the incident as “mischief.”

He plans to address the matter during his Sunday service.
