Investors in the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) experienced a loss of N48 billion as the market ended the week on a bearish note, with the All-Share Index dropping by 0.07 percent to close at 111,742.01 points. Key declines were driven by sell-offs in stocks such as Beta Glass, NCR Nigeria, Conoil, and Legend Internet, with 37 stocks falling against 28 gainers. Despite the downturn, some stocks like Omatek and Red Star Express saw significant gains. Trading volume increased substantially, with 1.90 billion shares worth N64.14 billion exchanged, led by United Bank for Africa’s 1.41 billion shares.
