The PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draws in South Africa are set to take place on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, with jackpots estimated at R62 million and R4 million respectively.

Players can enter the PowerBall by selecting five numbers from 1 to 50 and one PowerBall number from 1 to 20 for R5 per board, and can pay an extra R2.50 to enter the PowerBall Plus for a second chance to win.

Draws occur every Tuesday and Friday at 21:00 on e.tv, and tickets can be purchased at retailers, through the National Lottery website, mobile app, and select banks, with sales closing at 20:30 on draw days.

Winners of R50,000 or more receive free trauma counseling and financial advice, and all winnings are tax-free. Players must be at least 18 years old to participate.
