Drake placed a $1.25 million bet on his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs to win but they were defeated 6-1 by the Florida Panthers in game seven of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Instead of blaming his own “curse,” Drake humorously blamed the “Bieber curse” after Justin Bieber, a fellow Leafs fan, attended the game.
