Defence Chief Urges Nigerians to Support Armed Forces in Fight Against Insecurity
General Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, has appealed to citizens to support the Armed Forces in combating violent groups and insurgency.
Speaking at the first Voice of Nigeria Forum in Abuja, he emphasized trust, civic engagement, and responsible narratives as crucial to addressing insecurity.
Representatives from the National Security Adviser and the Ministry of Information highlighted the shared responsibility for security and urged media to focus on military achievements over terrorist acts.
The forum aims to foster dialogue among security agencies, media, civil society, and citizens to build unity and collective responsibility for a safer Nigeria.
