2027: There Won’t Be Any Political Party In A’Ibom - Akpabio

Senator Godswill Akpabio, Senate President and former Akwa Ibom governor, claimed there will be no political parties in Akwa Ibom State by the 2027 elections.
He criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for being severely damaged and unable to protect the populace.
Akpabio announced a consensus among all parties to support Governor Umo Eno for the 2027 gubernatorial election, along with backing for President Bola Tinubu and himself for Senate.
The statement was made during Akpabio’s midterm empowerment briefing at Ikot Ekpene township stadium.
