University of Ghana Matriculation -2025 Schedule

The University of Ghana (UG) Legon matriculation Schedule (date, time and venue) for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic year has been released.

The management of the University of Ghana (UG) Legon, Accra has released the matriculation schedule and registration procedure for all the newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic year. Freshmen are to read the full procedures below.

University of Ghana Matriculation Schedule

This year’s Matriculation Ceremony will take place at the Athletics Oval, opposite the Central Cafeteria on Saturday, September 28, 2025 at 9:00am.

Procession of Members of Convocation will start from the Central Cafeteria at 8:45 am prompt.

Members of Convocation especially Provosts, Deans, Heads of Departments, Heads of Halls, Senior Tutors are entreated to attend the Ceremony.

They are hereby requested to indicate from Monday, 23rd September 2025 whether they will be attending the ceremony and join the procession.  Use Staff ID and MIS Web PIN to log in the link below to register.

Following registration, the Black matriculation gowns may be obtained from Room D7, Academic Affairs Directorate. The gown should be worn over formal attire. Return of gowns should be made at the same collection point.
